Game Show Rule Change for Small Fry (7 & under) – A walker is allowed, but not required, alongside the
rider/horse to provide assistance or guidance if the child/horse needs
it. No lead rope is allowed. The walker must cross the
timeline alongside the horse/rider, in order to prevent
the triggering of the timer. Disqualification results if the timer is triggered
due to the walker being behind or in front of the horse when the horse/rider
crosses the time line. Prizes in Small Fry events will remain the same. Ribbons
for 1st – 6th place and High Point and Reserve
High Point Trophies.
Leadline Rules remain the same. A lead rope attached to the horse is required and no time is recorded. All Leadline participants receive an award.
